Bellingham (Washington) Social Media: May 2010 Meetup

Blurb: Join the Bellingham Social Media group for our next meetup, hosted by Glow Nightclub.

Tickets will be available for the first 75 registrants. Cost to attend the event will be $5 + a $1.26 ticket fee and will cover light appetizers and snacks. Drinks will be available at the bar for an additional cost. Water will be available at no charge. Parking downtown is free after 6pm. Best place to park will be on/around Railroad Ave. **Glow is on the 2nd floor. There is an elevator, so if you need to use it to get upstairs, please let us know

We are privileged to have Dave Olson, Community Director for HootSuite, as our guest speaker for the May meetup. Dave will be speaking about using Hootsuite’s popular social media dashboard to spread messages, monitor conversations and track what’s working by sharing real world anecdotes from the marketing trenches. Along with sharing expert tips for using HootSuite on web and mobile, he’ll discuss best practices and tactics for launching and managing communication campaigns for business and organizations by strategically utilizing social networks.
