#HootTip: Auto-Update from News Feeds in #HootSuite dashboard

Auto-post from RSS & Atom feeds
By adding your blog’s news feed into HootSuite, you can automatically post updates about your post – along with a trackable Owly link – to any of your networks including Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin and more!
As the popularity of social media grows, so too do the number of networks and social communities. You want to reach out to your audience wherever they are, but broadcasting your message across all of these channels can be time-consuming and tedious. So how do you streamline this process to save yourself the hassle?
Here’s How
Add an RSS feed from your blog, social bookmarks, news alerts or comment feed to HootSuite to automatically update your followers and community whenever the feed is updated. It’s easy do and you don’t have to leave the dashboard. Just follow these steps:
1. Click the Launch Bar, go to Settings, and select “RSS/Atom”
2. Then, click the button which says, “Add New Feed” and paste the RSS feed URL into the “Feed URL” text field. If you like, add a bit of text to pre-pend your update, along with choosing a time interval and post count.
TIP: make sure your feed is properly formatted at http://feedvalidator.org/
3. Finally, select which social profiles you want to auto-update by clicking the profile avatars. When done, simply click the “Save Feed” button and let the updates begin!

I will use HootSuite application to inform my followers in social nets on interesting events which constantly happen in my life. Thank you also for putting down steps describing how to use this application.
Hi there – I set this up for 3 different social network profiles but it does not show the “Profiles to send feed items to” section at the bottom. All the profiles are in the dropdown box but I can’t seem to select more than one at a time. Will all of the profiles I set up be updated, or is there another way I should do this? Thank You!
