But there may be another reason investors showed up at its Canada-chic offices this past summer, bearing truckloads of cash. …  Venture capitalists from Seattle, Silicon Valley and New York are prowling Vancouver’s funky Gastown neighborhood and other hot spots, looking to get in on the action.” – Seattle Times

“It doesn’t hurt that HootSuite has been rated not just one of the top but the top employer in its head office location in Vancouver, Canada, and that it has just recently moved into top-end new offices complete with a yoga studio (CEO Ryan Holmes is a fanatic), pup tent offices, and that must-have-accessory for the modern tech company office, a nap room.” – VentureBeat

On October 8, 2013, HootSuite opened up its doors to job seeking hopefuls. Ryan Holmes talks about tech employment in Vancouver on Global News BC.

“Social media is something that is everywhere and part of every moment in a person’s life — which can include the CRM process for sales and customer service teams. The popular social-media dashboard has formed a new partnership [with Burlingame, Calif.-based Nexgate] that it says ups its commitment to keeping its customers’ accounts secure and also adds a layer of policy management compliance to its features.” – Entrepreneur

“It seems like HootSuite is always up to something these days. Today the Vancouver creators of a social media dashboard announced a partnership with Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications to offer an Advanced Social Media Strategy (ASMS) Certificate.
