A review is an online assessment of a business’s product, service, or experience shared by a customer or other individual.

Reviews can include text, photos and star ratings, but can also be as simple as a thumbs up or down.

They’re often shared as a way to provide potential customers with an unbiased perspective on the business or brand.

Reviews can be found on many social platforms, including Facebook and YouTube, as well as Google, ecommerce sites, and dedicated review sites.

Reviews are considered a key element of social proof and a meaningful way to build trust and credibility.
