noplace
noplace is a minimalist social media app that launched in January 2024. Like BeReal before it, noplace is designed to appeal to users, particularly Gen Z, who are disillusioned with traditional social platforms.
noplace focuses on text-based interactions and doesn’t allow visual content, like photos or videos.
Instead, the app features a nostalgic interface, a top friends list (both of which are shades of early 2000s heavy-hitter MySpace) and a “leveling” system — users are rewarded with higher levels based on how active they are within the app.
It’s currently available only for Apple devices.
