Vine

Vine was a social media app that gave its users the opportunity to create a 6-second video that would be played on loop. Sort of like a GIF with audio. Vine was acquired by Twitter in 2012 for $30 million and then shutdown by the same company in 2017 due to an increase in short-form video competition on social media (hello, IG Stories and Tiktok!)
