Facebook announces Live Shopping Fridays — a series of live shopping events to be held weekly throughout the summer in partnership with major beauty and fashion brands.
Every Friday through July 16th, 3 big name brands will host interactive shopping live streams. The events will be organized into 3 repeating themes: Glow Up, New Fashion Finds and Self Care Spotlight. Participating brands include Abercrombie&Fitch, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and Sephora.

The initiative promotes Facebook’s Live Shopping feature. With Live Shopping, customers get the chance to discover new products and interact with brands (e.g. ask questions about size or fit) in real time. For brands, the immersive experience offers a chance to reach new audiences, create memorable relationship moments and streamline online sales.
