On April 11th, Meta announced the launch of a new program designed to incentivize creator activity in Horizon Worlds, the company’s metaverse platform.

The program is an add-on to the $10 million Horizon Creators Fund announced in October of 2021. Though currently only available to a small number of eligible creators in the U.S., Meta says it’s an important part of the company’s “long term vision for the metaverse where creators can earn a living and people can purchase goods, services, and experiences.”
