Instagram brings back Twitter Card previews

Tweets with links to Instagram posts will include post previews.

Social media marketers rejoice!

Earlier this week, Instagram has begun the rollout of Twitter Card previews. This means that sharing Instagram posts to Twitter will now make a bit more sense — Tweets with links to Instagram posts will include post previews.

They said it would never happen… Twitter Card previews start rolling out TODAY. 👀

Now, when you share an Instagram link on Twitter a preview of that post will appear. 🙌 pic.twitter.com/XSZRx9dzd1

The feature was controversially discontinued in 2012 when Facebook first acquired Instagram.
