Twitter appears to be developing an “Edit” button, according to mobile developers who share leaks on the platform.
Developer Alessandro Paluzzi announced recently that an “Edit” button is in the works and that the feature will allow users to edit Tweets for up to one hour after publication.

Paluzzi shared that Twitter will indicate that Tweets have been altered by marking them as “Edited” right next to the time and date of the Tweet.
Nima Owji, an app researcher and developer, recorded a GIF demonstrating how the feature will look live.

According to Owji, the edit button will only be available to those with Twitter Blue, a subscription-based offering from Twitter that gives users access to new or premium features.
There’s no clear date for the launch, but Twitter had announced that they’ve been working on an edit feature since last year.
“We’re kicking off testing within @TwitterBlue Labs in the coming months to learn what works, what doesn’t, and what’s possible,” the @TwitterComms account tweeted.
