New release (beta v2.0): Detailed stats, improved error handling, and more!
Additions / updates for current release (beta v2.0):
- Detailed stats! In all their glory. View your total clicks for each twitter profile. View information about referrers, see where your links are getting clicked from (broken down by country), and view your most-clicked tweets.
- Improved integration with Twitter’s API, and better error handling. If your Twitter password changes, or if Twitter is down, you can see which scheduled tweets failed to send, and why. (You’ll also be able to re-send them, of course!)
- Updated Direct Message tab
- Improvements with @Replies
- New Tweet pop up
- Minor bug fixes and UI improvements

So… how do we access all these new stats? I’m logged into my account and can’t see anything different, what am I missing?
Just click into your profile dashboard, and the second to last tab along the top is stats. You can filter stats by day, week, month and year. For most of them you need to use the ow.y URL shortener.
Ah, that’s what is tripping me up, the ow.y URL’s (which I haven’t used much).
I’m not seeing a Stats tab. I see a list of the tweets that I’ve sent through the hootlet, and about those, Sent | Pending (0) | @Replies | DMs. I can click on the graph icon on each Tweet and view a bar graph per tweet, but that’s it.

Oh, hold the phone – I didn’t realize I had to click through again to my actual profile and not just the overall dashboard. It might help to put that instruction somewhere!
However, it’s not showing any stats on the stats tab; does it not bring over things from the hootlet? Or only from the web interface of the URL shortener?
I’m pretty new to HootSuite and wondering if there’s a way to view a complete list of the ow.ly links (and stats) I’ve created/tweeted, rather than just the most popular for a given date range. Heeellllp!!
