Get your Rickrolls ready! Instagram is (reportedly) bringing back the ability to add a song to your profile.
That’s right — the feature most commonly associated with 2006-era Myspace (and Hinge profiles, apparently) may be coming soon to an Instagram account near you.
App researcher Alessandro Paluzzi has spotted a new “music” option available in Instagram’s profile settings. In addition to the song of their choice, users will also be able to add an optional caption.

There’s no word on whether the song will play automatically, but in the latest screenshots, it looks like visitors will be able to play the song from the profile.

It looks like this feature isn’t yet in wide or even limited release, but we’re already thinking about which songs we’ll want to highlight on our own profiles (dibs on the new Paramore).
