While users have long been able to schedule Instagram posts using Creator Studio, this test marks the first time they’ve offered scheduling within the Instagram app.
When creating a post or Reel, users will be able to turn on the new Schedule this post toggle, available under Advanced Settings. From there, they can select the time and date they want to publish the post.
Users will be able to manage or view upcoming scheduled posts under the new Scheduled Content section.

A Meta spokesperson confirmed the news in a brief statement: “We are testing the ability to schedule content with a percentage of our global community.”
There’s no word yet on if or when the feature will go live, but stay tuned.
