Instagram announced that as of October 27th, all users globally can add links to Instagram Stories.
Leading up to this change, the recently introduced link sticker tool and its predecessor, the swipe-up feature, were only available to users with over 10,000 followers.
Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri said in a Tweet that the update is the company’s response to user feedback.
Today, we’re launching the new Link Sticker 🔗 globally. This allows anyone, regardless of follower count, to easily share links in a story.
