Creator and business accounts on Instagram now have access to analytics for Instagram Reels, Live broadcasts and new reach metrics. According to Instagram’s head of product, Vishal Shah, the company will continue to add insights “over time.”
In a recent Instagram Live conversation between Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Instagram head Adam Mosseri, the executives revealed that Reels may soon appear on Facebook. Tests on the integration have been underway in India since as early as March. In addition to sharing from Instagram, the company plans to offer a version of the Reels feature on Facebook as well.
The company is also looking into providing shared Reels metrics, which would allow people to see the full reach of their Reels across Facebook’s apps.
