Becoming a Leading Digital City with HootSuite ~ A New York City Case Study
Providing consistent, accessible and accurate information across several social media channels can be a challenge. On top of this, government groups must securely disseminate information quickly while engaging with their citizens and maintaining transparency.
In January of 2011, the City of New York set out on a mission to conquer this hurdle. Recognizing the importance of implementing an effective social media strategy to distribute citywide information, the City of New York and more specifically NYC Digital, used HootSuite as their social media management tool.
