If you have been with us for a while, you know about our former weekly news roundup, This Week in Social. With Social Update, we want to go further: instead of describing everything that has happened in detail, we pick the news most likely to have an effect on how you run your social media.
In this pilot series, Sunny will highlight the social industry’s top stories and developments, and provide useful context for brands and businesses who are ready to step up their social media game. In the first episode of Social Update, Sunny tells us about a new hyper-local ad offering from Facebook and a travel company offering big discounts for guests who boast lots of social followers.
